PLUTO introduces you to the world of RFID technology and offers you a practical introduction to the benefits of this technology. All you need is an RFID handheld scanner with software and RFID tags to quickly and accurately identify and locate your goods.
How does it work?
Tagging
You use the RFID handheld scanner to programme an RFID tag to contain the unique information about your product. You can enter the data manually or you scan a barcode and programme it into the RFID tag. You then apply the RFID tag to your product.
PLUTO also offers the option of converting GS1 EPC to GS1 Barcode.
Scanning
You can quickly scan the tagged goods with the RFID handheld scanner. The information is read and stored.
The use of filters enables to convert the stored data to a local file (.csv) or forward it to a REST API or a message queue.
Locating
You can also use the RFID handheld scanner to search for your tagged goods.
You select a tag and an audiovisual signal indicates the degree of your proximity to the tag (and thus to your product).
