Exciting news for STAR: advancing to the finals in the Euroleague Basketball Fan XP 2024

The Euroleague Basketball Fan XP is a program that brings companies together to reshape the sports industry by connecting them with renowned sports organizations. Over the course of seven months, participants have the opportunity to refine their ideas and approach the sports world in a new way.

Out of the 34 companies from 12 different countries that applied, 16 candidates were selected for the online qualifying round, where they had six minutes to present their projects, followed by a four-minute Q&A session with the judges. Eight projects have now advanced to the playoffs, and we are proud that our RFID Solutions STAR Project is among the selected eight!

The program focuses on enterprises that offer innovative solutions in the areas of venue management, game day experience, digital solutions, content creation, data and fan engagement, and new business models. The selected companies go through various phases, from mentoring to development, culminating in a final presentation of their projects during the SPORTBIZ EUROPE event in Barcelona in October 2024.

Our RFID team will present the innovative solution for sustainable cup management using RFID technology to a jury of four experts from the sports industry at the SPORTBIZ EUROPE event in October. The winner will receive a prize of €10,000, intended for further developing their solutions within the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup. We are excited to advance to the next round and look forward to presenting our project soon!
