Seyntex guarantees faultless assembly and tracking of police clothing with the NOVA Asset Management solution

The Belgian firm Seyntex is a leading manufacturer of protective clothing and equipment.The company won an international tender for the production of tens of thousands of bulletproof vests, lap belts and shoulder pads in various sizes.The end-customer required each component of each set to be uniquely identifiable by using RFID technology.

Aucxis suggested to implement its scalable tracking solution NOVA consisting of RFID textile tags, an RFID programming station, RFID handhelds and the standard POLARIS Asset Management Software. To check whether the right tag goes into the right component and to vaildate the product when the assembly is finished the production employees use the POLARIS app running on an RFID handheld. Thanks to NOVA every finished product is guaranteed to consist of the right components in the right size.

Every component of every set is tracked throughout the production and its entire lifetime. Overviews and reports can be conveniently accessed via the POLARIS web interface.
