Insights for the successful implementation of RFID technology

For achieving a successful RFID implementation, each project starts with a well-considered analysis of the specific needs and the environmental parameters.
A successful integration of an RFID project follows this chronology:
Together with our customer, we identify the business processes in order to gain a clear insight into the added value of RFID technology and the return on investment. We define the most important business objectives and formulate concrete and measurable objectives. A business analysis provides the necessary information and insights to make well-informed decisions about the planned investment.
In order to know whether a specific application is economically and technically feasible, we execute a Proof of Concept. We describe the complete RFID set-up and the parts which are needed. These tests also include the selection of the right tags.
Afterwards, we draw up a step-by-step plan for a successful implementation of the RFID technology. This plan includes the project presentation, site survey, order of materials, software analysis, final agreements about the project result.
In order to integrate RFID in an existing environment, we have a team of software developers and hardware architects. Our developers do not only integrate existing software, but also develop customised software according to specific requirements. Our architects design the necessary schemes, after which all hardware is assembled, internally tested and prepared for installation by our own technicians.
We integrate the RFID project, in phases or not, in the business process, minimising the impact on the daily operation. The correct tagging of the goods is crucial. After installation, thorough tests are performed together with the customer. We also provide the necessary training about the use of the system.
Our support team is available 24h/24, 7 days a week. As all developments and services are executed by our own personnel, all knowledge about our projects is available in-house for interventions, upgrades and the modular development of each system. We offer 3 SLA formulas.
