Cutting floor tags for RFID Forklift solution

In order to guarantee an optimal functioning and accurate information on the logistic flow, the RFID tags within our forklift solution are preferably mounted in the floor. The right choice of tag location is essential.

Aucxis proceeds as follows in order to ensure a smooth installation: 

• In consultation with the customer, all locations which need to be defined are identified.
• A floor plan, including a grid of all tags required, is drawn up.
• The location of the floor tags is marked on site and finally validated by the customer.
• A groove of about 2 cm deep is cut without making any dust.
• Next, the groove is thoroughly cleaned and the preprogrammed floor tags are mounted. 
• The floor tags are carefully sealed, making the floor completely flat again, without nuisance.
• After installation, everything is checked by calibrated measuring equipment

RFID tags on other locations

If it is not possible or desired to install floor tags, a solution will be looked for, enabling the mounting of the RFID tags to racks or at other locations. A combination of floor tags and tags on racks is also possible to indicate bin locations or zone passages. Our solutions are suitable for inside and outside use.
