OZ Export: registration system
The customer
OZ Export is one of the world’s largest flower exporters and makes part of Dutch Flower Group. The company – taking a surface of more than 36.000 m² – is situated in Aalsmeer, which is the heart of the Dutch flower sector. OZ Export buys, sells and gets flowers ready for shipment to different European countries, Asia, the Middle East and the United States.
The challenge
Aucxis was contracted for the development of an overall RFID solution for the detection and identification of all flower trolleys that arrive at both the existing and new hall.
The result
While all trolleys used to be scanned manually using a barcode scanner, they are now detected and identified automatically. Furthermore, the distribution coupons are printed automatically.
