The customer
Femat (Izegem) rents stylish and practical party materials, from chairs to bars and from cups to cutlery. Every day, 40 employees put orders ready and clean the returned articles for reuse.
The challenge
Femat was looking for a customised solution for the automation of manual counting and registration of incoming and outgoing party materials. The challenge for Aucxis was to select the tags in function of the materials and the rental process. Furthermore, a link needed to be provided to the existing WMS package of the customer.
The solution
- The crates are equipped with UHF tags.
- A handheld with application for linking a crate to an order.
