KOSMOS: real-time, web-based clock sale and information platform

The implementation of the latest KOSMOS version, v24.1, will give Vlaamse Visveiling a powerful boost. The standard software is customised to meet the specific needs of the auction, including displaying average auction prices during starting price determination. The possibility to update price overviews in real-time during auctions will also enhance the smooth flow of the sale.

POLARIS: RFID Asset Management Software

The current RFID system will be replaced by a solid RTI Tracking solution for the entire fish box pool.

The POLARIS RFID Asset Management Software allows for a quick and efficient tracking of sold boxes during distribution. The RFID handheld scanners automatically link the boxes to the correct buyer, giving him insight into the traceability data.

The rollout will occur step by step, with the necessary testing phases and parallel operation of existing systems to guarantee a smooth transition. Full implementation of the new systems is scheduled for mid-2024. These technological innovations significantly modernise the auction in terms of performance, efficiency and user-friendliness.
