RFID Xperience

On June 8, 2023, RFID Xperience took place, an event organised by Aucxis and partners Cisper Electronics B.V., Impinj & SATO Europe. Venue of the event: Brewery De Koninck in Antwerp, where participants were treated to interesting presentations and tasty bites and drinks in a charming setting.

Three inspiring speakers captivated the attention of the participants:

Steven Heyndrickx from Aertssen Group shared his experience in automating logistics processes with RFID. Jan Merckx from GS1 Netherlands introduced all present to the digital product passport and explained how RFID can be utilised to enhance transparency in the circular supply chain. Leon de Ridder from Cisper Electronics B.V. provided insights into the latest RFID hardware trends.

The concluding open panel discussion on the topic “How can you prevent bottlenecks with RFID?” sparked engaging exchanges between participants and panel members Emiel van Dreumel (Sato),Leon De Ridder (Cisper) and Jason Scrivens (Aucxis),moderated by Tom Sorgeloos (Aucxis).

Organisers, participants, and speakers reconvened at the bar for cordial chats and professional networking while being treated to delicious snacks and drinks, including the iconic Antwerp “Bolleke” beer.

Was it a successful event? A resounding “yes”! We were inspired and inspired others. An initiative definitely worth repeating!
